Building brand recognition in the education sector with Bostik

The challenge

Bostik is a leading global adhesive specialist in industrial manufacturing, construction and consumer markets, with recognisable products and brands, such as Blu Tack and EVO-STIK. An Arkema company, it employs over 4,900 people and has a presence in more than 50 countries.

Bostik already had a strong digital presence with an established Facebook profile, but it wanted to increase sales of its stationery and craft products and create a channel specifically targeting the education sector – one of its biggest growth markets.

The solution

Edson Evers planned, created and built a fun and informative creative learning hub, designed to specifically target primary school teachers and help build brand recognition for Bostik within this niche sector.

Content on the microsite has a focus on creativity within early years education, and the agency collaborated with a primary school teacher to ensure the content was relevant and met with EYFS standards. Edson Evers drove traffic to the site through social media, emails and live exhibitions.

The results

The result is a simple yet engaging destination for teaching professionals, with monthly downloadable resources, blog posts, news stories and competitions. The data capture elements of the microsite provide Bostik with contact details and leads in a sector where they want to grow their market share.

With over 1,500 subscribers, the site is a valuable resource for Bostik, demonstrating to customers its knowledge and commitment to the education sector.
