Launching the UK’s first MULTI COMFORT building with Saint-Gobain

The challenge

As a leader in sustainable habitat and construction, Saint-Gobain UK has developed the MULTI COMFORT design concept, which is all about building and renovating our homes, offices, schools, hospitals and other buildings in a way that gives us improved comfort, health and wellbeing while protecting the environment.

To help launch the this concept, Saint-Gobain UK asked Edson Evers to organise a launch event to celebrate the opening of the first MULTI COMFORT building in the UK, for both customers and press. The agency’s task was to arrange the guest list, speakers, suppliers and related collateral.

The solution

Edson Evers secured A-list speakers, including Oliver Heath and the head of the UKGBC, which helped encourage attendance from a good cross section of the industry.

As well as managing the event from start to finish, the agency were responsible for a PR campaign surrounding the launch. This involved a social media programme including live video and streaming, as well as organising interviews with press to secure coverage in key titles.

The results

Over 100 guests attended, including key customers and vital industry contacts for Saint-Gobain, as well as influential press and academics. Positive feedback was received from those who joined the event, expressing genuine interest in the building concept and a desire to consider future projects.

In addition, there was great engagement on social media and impressive press coverage was also received, which this has been sustained since the launch.
