We were tasked with helping to promote ‘Raise The Bar’, an event organised by ASSA ABLOY to help promote Fire Door Safety Week. The event was intended to act as a forum around fire door maintenance on a local and regional level.

Over 70 key decision makers from key targets, such as Aston University, BAM Nuttall, Keele University, Sanctuary Housing, Waterstones and WM Housing, attended the event.

Supported by a comprehensive PR campaign that covers news releases and in-depth features discussing fire safety, we secured 62 pieces of coverage for ASSA ABLOY, with a total circulation of 1.3 million. We gained full-page and double-page articles in titles such as International Fire Buyer, FM World, Facilities Management Journal, Future Constructor & Architect, Education Design & Build and Local Authority & Building Maintenance.

We also drafted and designed a white paper in response to the Hackitt report, which also highlighted discussions from the Raise The Bar event, which was downloaded more than 200 times.

Our work was shortlisted for two awards in the 2019 CIPR Midlands PRide Awards, in the ‘Corporate and Business Communications’ and ‘Low Budget’ categories.
