Supporting Finning at a record-breaking Hillhead 2018

It’s always great to support a brand we work with at an exhibition. Having worked with Finning for more than a decade now, Hillhead is always a highlight in the calendar and this year’s event was no exception.

With the organisers announcing today that a record-breaking 19,687 unique visitors attended Hillhead 2018 – surpassing the show’s previous highest attendance record set in 2005 – it’s clear to see why the show keeps going strength to strength.

Packed with all the latest plant and equipment for the quarrying, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, recycling and construction sectors, Finning showcased its newest technology under the banner ‘Software, Hardware, Everywhere’. This included the latest Cat excavators, dozers and articulated trucks, commonly seen in construction sites across the UK. The stand also featured technology that gave visitors the opportunity to drive a Cat bulldozer more than 5,000 miles away in Arizona.

We helped support Finning at Hillhead 2018 with a full PR and content marketing campaign, covering PR and media relations, social media and video content. Not to mention, we also helped hand out over 4,200 cold drinks to stand visitors in the scorching heat!

Tracey Earp, Category Marketing Manager at Finning, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Edson Evers team for their support at Hillhead 2018. They are truly part of the team, and just get on with what needs to be done with passion and dedication.”

Take a look at what we and Finning got up to below! We also produced a special show edition of Finning News, an issue-led thought leadership magazine for those in the construction industry.
