More than 50 delegates attended the Unicorn House launch event

Saint-Gobain Abrasives approached us for help with the launch event for its new headquarters, with the main objectives being to come up with the theme of the event, create a suite of content with the same ‘look and feel’, secure press and local dignitaries to attend, and gain local and trade press coverage.

The theme we came up with was simple but effective – ‘Support Local’ – with the narrative putting particular importance on Saint-Gobain Abrasives being a local business with strong links to Stafford and its surrounds, despite being a major manufacturer on a global level.

Edson Evers also created an animated timeline video focusing on the history of Saint-Gobain Abrasives in Stafford, a full presentation for the MD to deliver to delegates on the day, as well as invitations, roller banners and leaflets.

Ahead of the day, we researched and invited local press, key trade press, representatives from Staffordshire County Council and the Mayor and Mayoress of Stafford Borough – all of which agreed to attend. Post-event, we followed up with all press and the Council and secured quotes from the Mayor of Stafford Borough to help ensure strong coverage.
